hiding in your mind for all to see

we've started choosing colors
but haven't picked a style
we're integrating memories
with pleasures guaranteed to bring a smile

concessionary breakthru
floating in a haiku
noting how the act resisted planning

discretionary recess
circumventing excess
melting thru the ice with certainty

we've written invitations
but haven't set the stage
we're contemplating innocence
and writing books with laughter on each page

little stars above us
signals in the night
memories of places we once knew

have we got your message
did we hear it right, we
view our world so differently than you

feathers in the front yard
remnants of life guard
dancing on the porch with no concessions

pillows with a web site
singing in the moonlight
kitties make the link in their direction

we're interviewing harmony
and visiting new words
rays delight in textures
float thru windows with their giggles overheard
