GAJOOB I really love this collection of collaborations by Ken Clinger and lots of underground artists I know well. The tracks range from spoken work stories and poetry to lush instrumentals and shimmering drone ambience. There is also folk with Wes Johnson and a love ballad with me that I wish Ken had sung. It's really an outstanding collection.

BOVINIA (The Bovinian National Anthem) by Ellen Miz Ellen Bossy Utopia, land of flowing milk, This is Bovinia, untouched by human guilt, We love Bovinia, her grassy spaces wide,
Peaceful Bovinia, there we shall abide. Onward to Bovinia, come now to unite,
Bring the lamp of humor, change the dark to light. Utter simplicity, is all she asks of thee,
Lovely Bovinia, the fairest and the free,
Live in Bovinia, a sense of the absurd,
shines in Bovinia, along with Bossy's word. Onward to Bovinia, come now to unite,
Bring the lamp of humor, change the dark to light. Bossy utopia, flows with milk and honey, Mother Bovinia, source of all that's funny,
Weirdest Bovinia, we promise to be true Never to be normal, Bovinia for you. Onward to Bovinia, come now to unite Bring the lamp of humor, change the dark to light.

Goodbye to Christmas (version 2) lyrics ©2006 Thelonious Octopus Goodbye to the days I once believed That you put gifts under my tree Goodbye to the happy Christmas days And to my blissful childlike ways Goodbye Santa, reindeer and elves And fairy tales we tell ourselves Goodbye the days of play pretend Those days have come to an end (first chorus) Goodbye Goodbye make believe Goodbye Now I truly see Goodbye Goodbye Goooood-byeeee I find it odd we celebrate God Coming to Earth in a frail bod By spending money we can't afford Just to get stuff we come to ignore Goodbye, this Christmas is not the same The illusion's gone and there is pain All's not lost in the winter snow My Christmas spirit will ever show (chorus 2) Goodbye Goodbye make believe Hello Now I truly see Hello Joy inside of me Helloooooooo

Pine Tree Symphony Words and music by Wes Johnson phxsongwriter@yahoo.com Get off work on Friday and the car’s already packed I’m headed down the highway, and I may not come back For at least another week or two Maybe more, you never can tell I’m searching for a melody I heard long ago It’s etched into my memory, playing soft, sweet, and slow I’m headed to the mountains Where I’ve got the best seat in the house For a Pine Tree Symphony The wind, it’s going to whisper softly to me It’s blowing gently through the trees And it’s music… it’s sweet, sweet music to my soul I find the largest conifer in this forest stand I lay down my body, and I spread out my hands I gaze out in wonder At this magical starry, starry night Then I close my eyes, and I fade into a dream I let the euphoria wash all over me There’s nowhere else I would rather be at this point in time Than at a Pine Tree Symphony The wind, it’s going to whisper softly to me It’s blowing gently through the trees And it’s music… it’s sweet, sweet music to my soul When it’s time to leave, you know I just want to stay Stay here forever in this forest hideaway Someday I will I know that it’s going to come true So when I die, please lay my ashes to this ground Let me blow into the wind and be part of the sound And if you listen carefully, I know you’re going to hear me singing In this Pine Tree Symphony The wind, it’s going to listen softly to me It’s blowing gently through the trees And it’s music… it’s sweet, sweet music to my soul Words and music © Wes Johnson
