Another Voice words & music by Ken Clinger concept by Craig Conley haze surrounding clouding vision has it always been this way a memory of some connection far beyond what i can see something missing beyond senses something that’s a part of me reaching out past comprehension beyond familiarity intuition beyond reason suggestion to communicate calling out to what is missing attempting to relieve the wait opening to reach the other beyond darkness shroud i greet welcoming to all that makes complete opening to reach the other beyond darkness shroud i greet welcoming to all that makes complete repetition of my calling my own voice beyond control echo of my desperation reflecting soul’s own call to soul something beyond comprehension hinting at another view alternative to explanation another voice is breaking thru it is me yet it is not me answer from another light filling in the incomplete replacing darkness with delight another voice combined with mine a poignant pleasure harmony belies illusion of the split as soul regains its unity.

microwave parroting (1999) concept by craig conley music and lyrics by ken clinger deep beneath the feathers, dwells a consciousness intact memories of amazon. the jungle world of past dwelling in this northern clime, a solitary life a solitary parrot, lonely quiet for its plight humans come and humans go, but they make no impression daydreams in the silence, as time makes its own progression but something in the here and now, is calling for attention another room, a microwave, demanding intervention (beep beep) i'm signaling (beep beep) is any-one there (beep beep) i'm waiting waiting (beep beep) does any-one care (beep beep) i've done my duty (beep beep) i've made it hot (beep beep) the time's increasing (beep beep) the heat is not what is that motion, deep in the parrot musing something touching time and what is that calling, beyond the jungle daydream signals hinting meaning an urgent message, something has been forgotten something losing heat and i feel connected, i feel a newborn kinship calling, begging for re-sponse microwave with parroting, a consciousness intact looping forward endlessly, a symbiotic pact combined they trigger something, unexpected ringing true it starts to gain momentum, with the power to renew re-verberating outward, waves vibrating from a core flowing out into a world, not knowing what's in store.

Bubbles 08:25
bubbles bubbles floating past in their indifferent madness their indifferent gladness as they come into the wind they have rainbows for their colors twising every which way progressing as they may as they sparkle in the sun universe in solitude reflecting rather late it’s been held back by its weight in its movement from within minds in motion minds in time minds in rhythm minds in rhyme flashes in the darkness with accompanying kindness dispelling our blindness that we didn’t know was there sound behind the silence as it seems to lead us on onto places we have gone to as far as we can tell onward past the structures with their subtle complexity distracting perplexity that seem to say the end high emotion high in mind high in memory high design images of separateness without the control there’s no way to console when we’ve broken all the ties reviewing all abandoned ways we thought were too plain on our way to attain what we thought was surely right projections shining past with their peculiar demands as their presence expands if we give them half a chance we send out our own displays amazed at the subtle plays they make as they show the ways they’ve learned to interact they form bubbles in a trance with their self contained motion and inspired commotion as if floating in the wind fly in motion flying prime fly in rhythm fly in rhyme bubbles floating past in their newfound awareness their own kind of rareness as they come into the wind they have rainbows for their colors twising every which way progressing as they may as they sparkle in the sun universe in harmony reflecting from within each moment it begins to shine a brighter way fly in motion flying prime fly in rhythm fly in rhyme
