There once was a girl named Kate
Who thought the world was a plate
She went to the edge and fell of the ledge
And that was the end of Kate

Ho! Ho! Ho!
Santa comes in the middle of the night with a "Ho! Ho! Ho! Ho! Ho!"
Up on the rooftop, up on the rooftop his reindeer go
I looked up the chimney and what did I see?
The reindeer and Santa Claus looking at me!
I want you to know he scared me so with his "Ho! Ho! Ho! Ho! Ho!"
Ho! Ho! Ho!
I'd like to go
Ho! Ho! Ho!
I'd like to go
And ride his sleigh
To the land of snow
If Santa Claus would only
Let me go.
I can still hear him calling to his reindeer band, "Let's all go home!"
Happy again to pull his sleigh with all their might
"Merry Christmas one and all
And to all goodnight!
Be of good cheer
We'll see you next year!"
And then they were out of sight.
Ho! Ho! Ho!
I'd like to go
Ho! Ho! Ho!
I'd like to go
And ride his sleigh
To the land of snow
If Santa Claus would only
Let me go.

lyrics ©Greg Stomberg
the guards are all asleep so no one watches you
so we get up to do whatever we want to
with the forests extinct
we hid in the grass near the hemp plants
the guards searched by day
at night we foraged while the leaders did rant
we wanted to be free
from the orders given by madmen
we escaped the great city
and hid in the wilds of the garden's den
we know our ancestors all smoked hemp
but now its use was industrial
someone whittled a makeshift pipe
to smoke some hemp buds for awhile
he lit some up and coughed
so we laughed as he passed it along
someone told a joke
and we laughed and laughed forever
let's take some of this now
so we can smoke it whenever
daylight - in utopia's garden
is a work day
routing - in utopia's machine
always the same way
midnight - in utopia's garden
is a strange time
moonlight - in utopia's machine
feels so fine
the outlawing of dreams
was this plant's major downfall
they won't let us smoke
because they want it all
but hemp is also for smoking
not just for the hempseed oil
so the people all smoke it
after a hard day's toil
we threw away our cigarettes
that addicted us to their ways
and celebrated life
because it's nature's way
daylight - in utopia's garden
is a work day
routing - in utopia's machine
always the same way
midnight - in utopia's garden
is a strange time
moonlight - in utopia's machine
feels so fine

Campau-Clinger - Calling

calling
colors meeting in the eyes
touches on the skin
no end from no beginning
the outer comes within
taste receptive on the tongue
sounds meeting in the ear
to one who sees and knows it
enters now and here
the sun is rising
the rain is falling
a voice is calling
—-
essence from the elements
reflections from the eye
actions from the folded hands
caress and simplify
melting sounds that open doorways
images appear
nothing but awareness
as substance disappears
the sun is rising
the rain is falling
a voice is calling
—-
outer sounds that harmonize
sounds coming from within
radiating unity
hearts beating in the wind
scents that trigger memories
tastes hint at something more
a dream returns, the tide recedes
on near and distant shores
the sun is rising
the rain is falling
a voice is calling
—-
gentle touch from deep within
too simple to reply
first appearing in the heart
then rising to the eye
existing beyond space and time
yet also day to day
instinct in awareness
awakening in play
the sun is rising
the rain is falling
a voice is calling
